How to Play Tripl3 Crown?
Before starting make sure you take out the 2 Gold Joker cards on the deck. (Two Golds without numbers)
Original Game:
- Shuffle the cards thoroughly.
- Place the four Kings or Kings on horse cards (depending on the deck you have) on the Starting Gate. Cards will be broken up into four teams by suit. This will be your runner.
- Fill the arrow slots on the side of the game with cards facing down. (Grab cards from above and below the deck)
- Draw the remaining cards and move the corresponding runner up the track, as your team’s suit is drawn.
- Once each row is cleared you may flip its corresponding card. In the original game, if the card’s suit is the same as the last runner, the runner goes down one spot.
- Repeat until one runner reaches the finish line. (You may need to reshuffle the cards if your runner does not reach the end.)
Game A:
- Shuffle the cards thoroughly.
- Place the four Kings or Kings on horse cards (depending on the deck you have) on the Starting Gate. Cards will be broken up into four teams by suit. This will be your runner.
- Fill the arrow slots on the side of the game with cards facing down. (Grab cards from above and below the deck)
- Draw the remaining cards and move the corresponding runner up the track, as your team’s suit is drawn.
- Once each row is cleared you may flip its corresponding card. In Game A, if the card’s suit is the same as the last runner, the runner stays in place. If any other card is flipped, the corresponding runner must take a step back on the track.
- Repeat until one runner reaches the finish line.
Game B:
- Shuffle the cards thoroughly.
- Place the four Kings or Kings on horse cards (depending on the deck you have) on the Starting Gate. Cards will be broken up into four teams by suit. This will be your runner.
- Fill the arrow slots on the side of the game with cards facing down. (Grab cards from above and below the deck) • Draw the remaining cards and move the corresponding runner up the track, as your team’s suit is drawn.
- Once each row is cleared you may flip its corresponding card. In Game B, if the card’s suit is the same as the last runner, the runner takes an additional turn up. If any other card is flipped, the corresponding runner must take a step back on the track.
- Repeat until one runner reaches the finish line.
